The Look for Less: Leopard Wedges

Look at these Steve Madden West II wedges. They are pure leopard perfection!

$199 at Steve Madden
I just love the huge chunky platform on these Steve Madden babies. IMO, this particular leopard pattern and the shades of the colors used make this shoe different than every other leopard print shoe out there, and therefore more desirable (to me anyway).

I know these aren't an exact match, but look at what I just found at JustFabulous!

JF's Roxy were most likely inspired by Jimmy Choo's Penny wedge but I absolutely love SM's West II's so I had to share since the photo of those! :) They are all very similar though.

Strappy Wedges: Sole Society's Cline

My first April order from Sole Society was for the Cline in cream (also comes in brown). These platform wedges are a work of art with their gorgeous jute wrap detailing. Cline is a versatile shoe for spring and summer - perfect for daytime parties, bbqs, dates, if you work in a casual office like I do - even work, as well as other casual occasions.

I received my regular size in the beginning of April, but they were slightly small and somewhat tight. I sent them back and ordered a half size up and they turned out being a perfect fit! If you are thinking about ordering them you can use the picture below for a comparison of the 7.5 and the 8 on my feet (click to make it larger).

Left: Size 7.5 (my normal size) / Right: Size 8

Although they look as if they sort of fit the same, if you look closely at the 7.5's (at left) you will notice that my heels are slightly over the edge and my toes are pretty much just making it. My feet are also spilling over the sides of the shoe (you may notice it slightly on both sizes, but don't worry that is just my right foot :) I think I broke that pinky toe and/or bone at some point and it never healed correctly). If you are thinking about ordering these I would go a half size up - especially if you are in between sizes on the larger side.

Nail Polish: OPI - Color So Hot It Berns (NL Z13)

Cline is so comfy which means it may quickly become my every day shoe. The weather has been mostly cool and rainy here in NYC (with the exception of today), so I haven't had a chance to wear them yet. I will be sure to report back when I do!

Cline is currently available from Sole Society during the month of May. If you are not yet a member and would like to sign up for Sole Society you can do so here. If you are not familiar with shoe clubs please read my post on how shoe clubs work before heading over to their site.

Waiting for Cline to Return

Meet Cline from Sole Society!

I really like these strappy wedges!  They have a 1" platform and a 4.5" wedge with jute wrap detail.  The color is cream and they come in brown as well.

Unfortunately my regular size was a little small, so I had to exchange for a half size up.  I can't wait to get them back!  I will be sure to post pics of them on as soon as I receive them.
