Sole Society's Anouk arrived.. and I am in LOVE!

Yesterday I received my first pair of shoes from Sole Society. I'd have to say that I was impressed! The color is a beautiful Royal Blue (they come in Coral as well). They were perfectly packaged, of excellent quality, fit great, very comfortable, and easy to walk in. The shoes are Marco Santi which is a brand that is exclusive to Sole Society.

* Sorry about the photo quality. My camera acts up a lot lately, but I plan on purchasing a new one as soon as possible!
* * Also please excuse my chipped toe polish. I am in desperate need of a fresh pedicure but I know you ladies are dying to see pictures of her and I didn't want to let that delay me in posting photos.

I think they are so easy to walk in because they are so "secure" on your foot. There is a zipper in the back that goes up to your ankle but it doesn't come up too high where it would bother you. This is not only convenient but necessary to get in and out of the shoe. There is no issue with the zipper whatsoever.

The ankle opening is the PERFECT size for my ankle, however not everybody is going to have the same fit. I don't think anyone will have a problem with the shoes being too tight because there is a small piece of hidden elastic on either side of the ankle strap.

Anouk is definitely a keeper. I absolutely LOVE them and I cannot wait to (FIRST get a pedicure! Then..) pick out an outfit and wear them!

  1. These are way cute and were not in my closet. Wonder tho, are they comfy? I recently reviewed Sole Society on my blog too ( but didn't order a pair thinking they might feel "cheap" irl? curious what u think...

  2. I think they are one of the most comfortable pairs of heels I own. As long as you are used to the height of the heel you will be fine in them. In my opinion the shoes from Sole Society do not seem cheap. I received another two pairs today that I will be doing reviews on later on tonight or tomorrow. Lately, I've been buying most of my shoes from shoe clubs. But before the shoe clubs (and sometimes now as well) I was only buying brands like Steve Madden, BCBG, Aldo, etc. (I am trying to give you an idea of the quality I am used to). Also, I feel silly asking because I feel like it is going to be something very obvious...but what does "ilr" mean? :)

  3. irl= in real life :)
Thanks for letting me know! I think I'll give it a shot and try a pair. As much as I heart Forever21 and Target, the actual "quality" of their shoes is awful and they're way uncomfortable. If they're akin to Steve Madden's or Aldo that's good enough to give it a go.

  4. LOL thanks for filling me in!
Yes I'd say it's definitely worth the shot.. and WORST case if you aren't happy you can always return them (but you loose out on a restocking fee if you RETURN, however exchanges are free). Many of their shoes are real leather and suede. Anouk is not though, it is micro-suede... but its not cheap looking AT ALL. I buy all my flats at Target! :p

  5. Wow these are pretty!! I would probably need a lot of heel training before I could walk in them but still :)

  6. I rarely have a problem walking in heels (unless they hurt!) but ONLY because I've been wearing them for so long. It took time to be able to walk normal in the really high ones! :) You definitely need to work your way up! It sounds funny but wearing them while doing chores around the house like cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry is great practice - and I'm sure your boyfriend would LOVE it! These are honestly one of the EASIEST super high pairs I own...and they are almost 6"!!!

Thank you for the lovely comments!
