What is an Influenster? Influenster is a community of trendsetters that are invited to share their lifestyles and show their influence. By doing this, Influensters qualify for personalized product shipments, special rewards, and exclusive deals from brands that fit their lifestyle. Influensters test products, give feedback, and spread the word about their favorite products. The more active you are, the more perks you will receive.

After signing up and unlocking several badges, I received an e-mail that I qualified for a "Holiday Voxbox". A voxbox is a package of products sent directly to the Influenster's home. In these packages are products from various brands.

What's in a Name?

For several months I've been contemplating starting fresh. With a whole new blog that is! In a way, I feel as if Shoes and Jules limits me in what I can write about. I was thinking of something more general. Something fashion, style, and New York City related. On the other hand, I don't want to fall into the same general category as every other fashion/style blogger. I love my shoe clubs and the little niche I found to blog about, but I want to explore other items and experiences. Most of all, I want to share all of these great purchases and experiences with you.

The Shoe Doctor Pays a Visit

My friend Chee from The Shoe Doctor came to visit me in New York this weekend. I picked her up from Laguardia Airport on Saturday. When we arrived back at my house, we put on our favorite Sole Society shoes and snapped a bunch of photos.
